Job Overview:

At Arm, we're pioneering the integration of Generative AI technologies into the realm of hardware and software engineering. We are seeking a highly skilled Data Science Engineer who will own the effort in researching innovative use cases, developing robust AI-driven solutions, and deploying powerful technologies to revolutionize our hardware and software engineering processes.

Responsibilities:

Your key responsibilities will comprise the list below, with an emphasis on Solution Development.

  • Use Case Identification: Explore and identify new opportunities where Generative AI can be applied within hardware and software engineering domains. Collaborate with multi-functional teams to understand challenges and pinpoint areas for AI integration.
  • Solution Development: Design and develop AI solutions tailored to hardware and software engineering. This includes data preprocessing, model customization, development of AI tools based on these models, evaluation, and iteration based on performance and feedback.
  • Technology Deployment: Implement and scale AI solutions in hardware and software engineering settings. Ensure seamless integration with existing hardware design and verification, and software engineering processes.
  • Collaboration and Leadership: Work closely with hardware and software engineers, data scientists, and product teams to align AI capabilities with business goals and product requirements. Provide thought leadership and mentorship in AI within the organization.
  • Research and Innovation: Stay abreast of the latest developments in AI and machine learning, particularly those applicable to hardware. Drive innovation through continuous research and applying brand new techniques.
  • Documentation and Reporting: Maintain detailed documentation of developed solutions, and performance outcomes. Prepare reports and presentations to communicate findings and progress to stakeholders.
Required Skills and Experience :
  • Bachelor's or Master’s degree in Computer Science, Machine Learning, or a related field.
  • Shown experience in applying machine learning and AI techniques in professional settings.
  • Strong programming skills in Python, C++, or other relevant programming languages.
  • Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills.
“Nice To Have” Skills and Experience :
  • Experience with machine learning frameworks (e.g., TensorFlow, PyTorch) and tools (e.g., CUDA, OpenAI APIs).
  • Experience with deploying AI models in production environments.
  • Knowledge of hardware design processes and CAD tools.
  • Familiarity with cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, GCP) and their AI service offerings.
