The Azure Architect will be responsible for designing, implementing, documenting and managing Azure cloud solutions that meet the strategic needs of our clients to implement UMAX. This role demands a deep understanding of cloud architecture, excellent technical skills, and a strong ability to translate complex requirements into effective solutions.


You will stay up to date with the evolution of the Azure services and the innovations of the Itineris R&D team.


The ideal candidate will also possess exceptional communication skills and be comfortable in a customer-facing role, ensuring the delivery of high-quality service and fostering strong client relationships.


As our Azure Architect, you....

  • Develop and implement cloud architectures using Azure services to meet client requirements.
  • Lead the deployment of Azure solutions, ensuring they are scalable, secure, and cost-effective.
  • Act as the primary technical contact for clients, understanding their needs and translating them into technical requirements.
  • Provide technical guidance and support to development teams throughout the project lifecycle.
  • Monitor and optimize the performance of cloud solutions to ensure they meet performance and availability requirements.
  • Ensure that all cloud solutions comply with security policies and best practices.
  • Create detailed documentation of solutions (e.g. architecture, configuration and set-up) and provide training to clients and internal teams.
  • Support Business Development and Technical Pre-sales


What you bring

  • 3-5 years’ experience as a technical architect, with a solid technical background on the Microsoft Azure cloud platform
  • In-depth knowledge of Microsoft Azure services, including but not limited to Azure VMs, Azure Storage, Azure Networking, and Azure Security.
  • Strong interpersonal skills with the ability to build and maintain relationships with clients, understand their business needs, and ensure their satisfaction.
  • Excellent teamwork and leadership abilities. Able to manage client relationships effectively and work collaboratively with internal teams.
  • Proven experience in designing and implementing Azure-based solutions. Experience with D365 business applications and/or Power Platform is considered a plus
  • Relevant Azure certifications are highly desirable (e.g. Azure Solutions Architect Expert)
  • Hands-on person with the ability to troubleshoot and resolve technical issues efficiently.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills in English, with the ability to explain complex technical concepts to non-technical stakeholders.
  • Flexible to travel (non-structural)


Preferred Qualifications: Experience working in a consulting or customer-facing role, familiarity with other cloud platforms (e.g., AWS, Google Cloud) is a plus, knowledge of DevOps practices and tools, experience with infrastructure as code (IaC) tools such as Terraform or ARM templates.
