Capital Actuary

We are working exclusively with a renowned Lloyd’s/London Market (re)insurance company


The role will sit within the syndicate capital team with responsibilities such as model development, regulatory returns, capital optimisation and looking at model use through the business. There will also be exposure to group responsibilities such as developing the group capital model, correlation assumptions and investment return modelling.


Excellent progression and scope within the role in terms of ownership of process and visibility such as presenting to model and risk committees. There is also lots of opportunity for someone to utilise coding abilities if they had an interest in this area.


Requirements

  1. Minimum 4 years of capital modelling experience in the Lloyd’s Market.
  2. Strong IT skills, with R and SQL advantageous.
  3. Self starter with excellent communication skills
  4. Newly qualified or making good progress through the actuarial exams.
  5. Must have full right to work in the UK.
