This is a permanent position, paying £35-42k and based on-site in central London (City area).


The role is working for a FInancial Services business based in Central London who are expanding their Network/Infrastructure team to allow development of new products.


Your main responsibility will be to provide outstanding technical and troubleshooting support for the businesses trading systems as part of a growing team.


Requirements:

  • Commercial experience supporting Linux environments (Redhat, CentOS, Ubuntu, Debian)
  • AWS
  • VMWare
  • Any exposure to DevOps is a bonus
  • Cassandra or Zabbix


Responsibilities:

  • Maintain, monitor and deploy globally distributed infrastructure
  • Analysis of server failure and solution implementation
  • Responding quickly to infrastructure support request's
  • Resolving server and network issues
  • Working directly with new customers to coordinate deployments and implementations
  • Automate server deployment as well as configuration management
