At Agemer Ltd we are recruiting on behalf of one of our clients, a leading provider of industrial kitchen cleaning services. They specialize in maintaining high hygiene standards for restaurants and food service establishments, ensuring smooth operations and food safety compliance.
As part of their growth strategy, they are seeking an experienced Sales Manager to lead their dedicated team, expand their client base, and drive revenue growth in Central London.
Role Overview
The Sales Manager will oversee a team responsible for night-time industrial kitchen cleaning services, ensuring operational efficiency and client satisfaction. You will play a critical role in expanding their reach in the restaurant and food service sectors.
This leadership position requires a blend of sales acumen, operational oversight, and team management expertise. Candidates with kitchen experience, particularly as Chef Managers or Chef Owners, are highly encouraged to apply.
Key Responsibilities
Sales and Business Development:
- Identify and target new restaurant clients and other food establishments.
- Develop and implement sales strategies to meet and exceed revenue targets.
- Build and maintain strong relationships with clients to drive retention and satisfaction.
Team Management:
- Lead, motivate, and manage the night-shift cleaning team.
- Ensure timely delivery of high-quality cleaning services.
- Provide training and support to enhance team performance and maintain standards.
Operational Oversight:
- Coordinate schedules to ensure smooth operations and optimal resource utilization.
- Address client feedback and resolve service issues efficiently.
- Monitor compliance with health and safety regulations.
Reporting and Analysis:
- Track sales performance and prepare regular reports for senior management.
- Monitor team productivity and service quality.
- Leverage client feedback and market research to identify growth opportunities.
Required Skills and Experience
- Proven experience in a sales management role, ideally within the hospitality or service industries.
- Strong leadership and team management abilities.
- Exceptional communication and relationship-building skills.
- Familiarity with managing night-shift operations.
- Results-driven mindset with a focus on achieving sales targets.
- Knowledge of hygiene standards and compliance requirements in the food service industry (preferred).
- Kitchen experience as a Chef Manager or Chef Owner is highly desirable.
