The company has earned an enviable reputation for delivering premium products with a significant portion of their business stemming from export orders to organisations and projects worldwide.
Your new role
As the Production Manager, you will oversee all production activities, ensuring that products are manufactured efficiently, on time, within budget, and to the highest quality standards. This role involves leading a team, coordinating with multiple departments, and implementing continuous improvement initiatives to achieve our company’s production and quality goals. Key responsibilities include developing and implementing production schedules, ensuring quality control, managing and mentoring production staff, and maintaining inventory and resource management.
What you'll need to succeed
The ideal candidate should have a minimum of 5 years experience in a Production Management role. You should have proven experience in implementing lean manufacturing, continuous improvement, or similar methodologies. Strong leadership and team-building skills, with experience managing multi-functional teams along with excellent problem-solving abilities and attention to detail is essential. The ability to handle production scheduling, cost control, and project management effectively is key and familiarity with EPLAN or other CAD software would be advantageous.
