This role is ideal for a qualified architect with experience working across all RIBA Work Stages, who is still early in their career and eager to make the move client side.


As a Design Manager, you will play a pivotal role in ensuring the successful delivery of social housing projects, from initial concept through to completion. Working closely with external architects, contractors, and key stakeholders, you will ensure that designs are aligned with project goals, regulatory requirements and sustainability targets.


Key Responsibilities:

  • Manage the design process from feasibility through to delivery
  • Ensure design integrity is maintained throughout all project stages
  • Collaborate with external design teams, providing feedback and guidance
  • Monitor project progress to ensure deadlines are met and budgets are adhered to
  • Lead design decisions, ensuring the quality of homes meets the needs of the community


Requirements:

  • ARB registered with at least 1-2 years post Part III experience
  • Experience working on UK projects, ideally within the residential or social housing sector
  • Strong understanding of UK Building Regulations and Standards
  • Excellent communication and project management skills
  • Confidence working with contractors and consultants
  • The right to live and work in the UK
