Digital Designer / Graphic designer


Job Duties:

  • Responsible for the creation of visual content across a portfolio of brands that meets creative, commercial and consumer needs in accordance with agreed deadlines.
  • Create marketing materials that meets brand guidelines, including but not limited to brochures, presentations, proposals, email campaigns, social media photos, website assets, investment guides, etc.
  • Take responsibility for projects and developments from the initial ideas and concepts stage through to design, artwork, and final delivery
  • Create HTML email templates, campaigns and landing pages
  • Creating designs/images to support the users journey as well as images, banners, CTA and infographics on the website
  • Create attractive and engaging assets for social channels including Facebook, Instagram, LinkedIn, Google Business Manager, etc.
  • Creating engaging PDFs & brochures
  • Creating construction updates
  • Resizing and sourcing images
  • Create interactive images/graphs, add interactions or simple animations
  • Maintaining website look
  • Reviewing heatmaps/click maps to analyse the success of designs and CTAs
  • Supporting the team with adhocs tasks
  • Report duties to Senior Digital Designer


Skills:

  • Keen interest and passion in all things digital, including photography and videography
  • Proficient in using Adobe creative suite, especially Illustrator, Photoshop and Acrobat Pro
  • Good working knowledge of HTML, CSS etc.
  • Strong understanding of typography, colour and information design (messaging hierarchy and layout)
  • Creative designer with exceptional attention to detail
  • A positive team player and clear communicator, capable of liaising with various teams and functions across the business
  • Good organisation skills with the ability to maintain schedules and meet deadlines


Education:

  • Bachelor’s (preferred)


Experience:

  • Graphic design: 3 years (preferred)


Job Type: Full-time


Salary: £26,000.00 per year


Schedule:

  • Monday to Friday

The ideal candidate will be a creative thinker who has strong design skills. They should be able to communicate effectively in order to understand the criteria of a project and deliver a carefully crafted design. This candidate should be able to collect feedback on various projects and if necessary, adapt their approach for future projects

Responsibilities

  • Communicate with project managers to establish goals, outcomes and timelines for deliverables
  • Create strong visual designs based on given criteria
  • Evaluate and adapt designs based on feedback provided
  • Conceptualize ideas and generate content from a variety of ideas
  • Understand characteristics of target audience and find effective ways to reach them


Qualifications


  • Bachelor's degree in graphic design or relevant field
  • 2+ years of relevant experience
  • Proficient in Adobe Creative suite and Photoshop
  • Strong creative, design and multitasking skills
  • Detail oriented
  • Demonstrated ability to create effective designs
