Your duties will cover a range of maintenance work including planned and reactive maintenance, servicing, specialist testing, fault finding and repair of equipment and installation work. You will oversee others on fault-finding, repairs, maintenance, and installation of complex plant.Main duties of the Plumber/Fitter

• To Diagnose any faults.
• Carry out repairs and maintain the building engineering services, plant and equipment.

Criteria

• BTEC National Certificate or Diploma or Advanced Modern Apprenticeship (NVQ level 3 with key skills) in Heating and Plumbing
• Completion of a structured training program in heating or plumbing for a minimum period of 3 years.
• IOSH Working Safely Desirable not essential.
• AP trained Desirable not essential.
• To be thorough and pay attention to detail.
• Have the ability to work well with others.
• Have the ability to use your initiative.
• The ability to use, repair and maintain machines and tools.
