Position Overview:

As the company expands globally, starting with a focus on the UK, EU, and USA markets, Floreon seeks an experienced commercial professional to drive ambitious growth and help establish Floreon’s plant-based compounds as industry-leading solutions.


Key Responsibilities:

  • New Customer Acquisition: Identify, pursue, and secure new clients to grow Floreon’s customer base.
  • Pipeline Management: Independently manage a sales pipeline, ensuring efficient project progress from lead to close.
  • Stakeholder Coordination: Collaborate closely with both customers and internal teams to deliver tailored solutions.
  • Market Research & Strategy: Monitor market trends, adjust strategies as needed, and conduct continuous research to identify new opportunities.


Your Profile:

To excel in this role, you should bring:

  • Industry Knowledge: Deep understanding of the plastics industry, particularly engineering plastics, including products, applications and competitors.
  • Sales Expertise: Demonstrated success in selling technical products and driving business growth by securing new customer opportunities, with a strong focus on the UK and EU markets.
  • Analytical Skills: Sharp business acumen, with strong problem-solving and judgment capabilities.
  • Customer-Centric Mindset: Strong listening skills to pinpoint customer needs, complemented by persuasive communication when presenting solutions.
  • Team Collaboration: Ability to thrive in a startup environment, working interdependently with a team-focused approach.
  • Entrepreneurial Drive: Creativity and initiative associated with startup or entrepreneurial experience.
  • Networking Strengths: Excellent relationship-building skills with a broad social and professional network.
  • Organisational Abilities: Strong project and time management skills to handle diverse tasks effectively.
  • Language Proficiency: Fluent written and spoken English; additional European languages are a plus.

This is a hybrid role, ideally based in the UK or EU, with international travel required.
