Responsibilities for the role of Football Data Analyst will include:
- Collect, clean, and process football-related data from various sources.
- Develop and implement statistical models and algorithms to analyze player performance and match outcomes.
- Create detailed reports and visualizations to communicate insights and recommendations to technical and non-technical stakeholders.
- Collaborate with football analysts, coaches, and other stakeholders to understand their needs and provide actionable insights.
- Stay updated with the latest trends and advancements in sports analytics and data science.
As the selected Football Data Analyst, you background should include:
- Bachelor's or Master's degree in Data Science, Statistics, Mathematics, Computer Science, or a related field.
- Essential - Proven experience in data science within the sports industry.
- Strong programming skills in Python and SQL.
- Experience with data visualization tools like Tableau, Power BI, or similar.
- Knowledge of football tactics, strategies, and player performance metrics.
- Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
- Strong communication skills with the ability to explain complex data insights to non-technical stakeholders.
