LSEG Metals Research offers in-depth insights into the diverse world of metals, including base, precious, ferrous, and battery metals. Your role will involve dissecting global production trends, market demands, and trade dynamics. You will have a significant opportunity to build production frameworks, and provide a narrative around supply-demand dynamics with a global perspective.

Role Responsibilities:
  • Research Leadership: Undertake in-depth primary and secondary research to construct sophisticated models for the metals market
  • Analytical Prowess: Apply your robust analytical skills to improve the quality and impact of our research outputs. Prior experience in a similar capacity or within the metals sector will be advantageous
  • Effective Communication: Develop clear, engaging reports that articulate our market perspectives with precision. Your ability to write fluently and persuasively is critical
  • Strategic Market Engagement: Engage regularly with market players to deepen our market insights and enrich our service offerings
  • Precision in Delivery: collaborate on research projects, ensuring results are of the highest quality and timely
  • Continuous Innovation: Constantly refine our analytical and technical methodologies to remain at the forefront of the industry
  • Support for Business Growth: Contribute to the creation of presentations that communicate our research capabilities to clients, aiding in business expansion
Qualifications and Experience Required:
  • Collaborative Spirit: Be a proactive and flexible team member, ready to make relevant contributions
  • Educational Background: A Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience is important. We value degrees in Economics, Environmental Science, International Business, or Global Studies. However, any field that cultivates analytical and critical thinking related to global markets is welcome
  • Professional Expertise: A proven ability in the metals market or a related research field, with a solid grasp of industry fundamentals
  • Technical and Visualization Skills: Expertise in Excel, and skills in visualization tools like Power BI are important
  • Refined Communication: Strong written and verbal communication skills are necessary
