KEY SKILLS / EXPERIENCE REQUIRED:


  • 2-3+ years' experience in Sales in the Agriculture sector, selling direct to farms.
  • Knowledge of ruminants and associated products, ideally with experience of feed & nutrition offerings.
  • Driven and sales oriented, but also with a customer service focus and ability to manage an existing client base.
  • Happy with travel within the North England and South Scotland region, likely to be more intensive initially but this could ease as relationships are further developed.



ROLE OVERVIEW:


A well established ruminant feeds business, backed by a much larger household name in the Agri / Dairy domain, is seeking a Field Sales Specialist to service an already established client base whilst also growing this with development of new business.


The focus of the this role will be North England and South Scotland - with Cumbria and Lancashire being a particularly warm patch, but candidates in other surrounding counties are also encouraged to apply.


As a supplier of 'alternative' feed solutions, embracing various bio related innovations and promoting the lowering of carbon footprints on farms, this business is looking for a forward thinking individual to target progressive farms and establishments.


In order to confidently service a book of existing clients, we need an individual who is already adept at Sales and Account Management (minimum 2-3 years' experience). Additionally, existing ruminants knowledge and experience selling into this domain is a requirement for this position (ideally relating specifically to feed and nutritional services). Dairy sector knowledge, and networks within this area, would also be highly advantageous.


This role could be an ideal opportunity for somebody looking to further their career in this sector - working with an already warm client base, for a well recognised brand name, against the back drop of a much larger business which will offer ample long term career opportunities
