Description

We are seeking a friendly and reliable Driver to join our team at Social Pantry. As a Driver, you will play a vital role in providing in delivering food, beverages and equipment to various event venues, corporate offices, and private residences in a timely and professional manner.


Responsibilities


  • Safely and efficiently transport catering orders to designated locations
  • Plan and follow the most efficient routes to ensure timely arrivals
  • Load and unload catering equipment and supplies
  • Ensure all orders are accurate and complete before delivery
  • Maintain cleanliness and fuel levels of the vehicle, reporting any issues to management
  • Provide excellent customer service and assist guests with any inquiries or special requests
  • Follow all traffic laws and company policies to ensure the safety of the guests and vehicle
  • Maintain accurate records of each trip, including mileage, fuel consumption, and any incidents that may occur


General

  • Take an active interest in Social Pantry, the progress, market growth and positioning of the company.

Requirements

  • Valid driver's license with a clean driving record
  • Proven experience as a driver, preferably in the hospitality industry
  • Excellent communication and customer service skills
  • Good knowledge of local roads and landmarks
  • Ability to work flexible hours, including nights, weekends, and holidays
  • Strong attention to detail and ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment
  • Ability to lift and carry heavy items, such as kitchen equipment, when necessary
  • Assisting in packing food orders when necessary
