School Kitchen Porters -London

Hospitality2ay are looking for Kitchen Porters to join our team and work within several schools in London on a temporary basis.

Bookings range from Nurseries, Primary and Secondary Schools and Higher Education settings and we pride ourselves in delivering a quality service for our candidates and clients.

As a Kitchen Porter your role can be working 5 days a week within the times of 7am to 3pm. Shifts are between 4-8 hours long and some roles have thepotential to go permanent.

Duties as a Kitchen Porter:

  • Ensure basic cleaning jobs are carried out as quickly as possible (washing of pots, pans, surfaces etc..)
  • Loading and unloading of food and equipment deliveries
  • Keep the storeroom organised
  • Dispose waste safely
  • Contributing to maintaining kitchen and food safety standards

Work Experience

  • Previous experience as a Kitchen Porter preferably within a school or contract catering environment (min 1 year working experience)
  • Confident working in a busy kitchen
  • All Food andHealth & Safety training Certificates
