This is a 9-month secondment or fixed-term contract opportunity. The HR Senior Manager role will primarily partner the global Finance function, with support provided to other Corporate Functions as required. The main purpose of this role is to engage with leaders to provide partnership to deliver the people agenda aligned with their business growth objectives. And to provide advisory/consultancy to employees, first line and senior management on complex matters with limited direction.

The role sits within the Corporate Functions People Partner team and will coordinate and work closely with the Centres of Excellence, Country People Partners and People Operations teams to deliver integrated partnership.

Role Responsibilities & Key Accountabilities:
  • Provides expertise and partnership on key functional areas including Transformation, Organization Design and Effectiveness, Location Strategy, Talent and Organisational Change.
  • Brings subject matter expertise to inform and lead ongoing programmes of work around organisational change and to resolve complex day-to-day issues.
  • Acts as a trusted advisor, coach and consultant for leaders at all levels organisation, providing pragmatic solutions to people challenges.
  • Drives the People agenda by ensuring that all people leaders are equipped and able to deliver against ongoing people leadership requirements, taking a view on internal and external talent, and coaching leaders.
  • Delivers and implements core People initiatives by partnering on projects/initiatives (e.g. employee voice strategy, D&I targets, performance and reward frameworks and succession planning with business units and divisions, improving colleague experience)
  • Assist in the execution of local operational people-related issues (e.g. relocations, on-boarding of new hires etc)
  • Works on a variety of projects and in some cases serves as the project manager relating to the development and implementation of HR programs and initiatives.
  • Leads annual cyclical activities within functional area (e.g., talent review, year-end performance calibration, engagement action planning, compensation review)
Qualifications & Experience:
Significant HR experience, with experience a global client facing HR Business Partnering role.

Experience of transformation programmes and associated people priorities e.g. Organisational Design, global implementation planning, talent and workforce planning, organisational change.

Exposure to and experience of global and complex matrix organizations, preferably with a background in Financial Services.

Very strong stakeholder management skills, with experience partnering at a senior level

Effective interpersonal skills, ability to influence others and resolve conflict

Effective skills in using data to identify challenges and inform solutions

Demonstrable experience and exposure in handling employee relations and dismissal situations

Ability to work independently and on own initiative

Strong project management and/ or organisational skills.

Strong accountability, with energy and ability to handle multiple priorities
