As a Deputy Manager, you'll play a vital role in ensuring the well-being of our residents. We are seeking a dedicated individual to join our team in overseeing the operations of a care home. The ideal candidate will have experience in dementia care, with strong leadership skills to manage and supervise staff effectively.
- Leading with passion: Provide leadership and direction to staff, fostering a positive and supportive work environment.
- Championing resident Care: Oversee the delivery of high-quality, person-centred care, including medication administration and adherence to care plans. Ensure residents' physical, emotional, and social needs are met.
- Excellence in operations: Collaborate with the Manager to maintain regulatory compliance and manage the day-to-day operations of the care home facility. Conduct assessments and develop individualized care plans for residents.
- Communication and collaboration: Liaise with residents, families, and stakeholders, addressing concerns promptly and professionally. Supervise and train care staff on best practices.
- Commitment to quality: Maintain accurate records and foster continuous improvement by regularly evaluating care and implementing changes.
- Safety first: Ensure the safety and security of residents and staff.
Requirements:
- Proven experience in healthcare - Dementia care or Senior care.
- Excellent leadership and supervisory skills, with strong communication skills.
- Ability to work effectively in a team environment.
- Sound knowledge of regulatory requirements and best practices.
- Flexibility to work occasional evenings and weekends.
- Must be a UK resident or have settled status
Qualifications:
- NVQ Level 3 or above in Leadership and Management in Adult Care.
- Strong IT skills for administrative and documentation purposes.
- Fluent in English, both written and verbal.
