Meraki Talent’s client is actively looking for an Infrastructure Analyst (Microsoft & Azure) to join their small team. The Infrastructure Analyst (Microsoft & Azure) will work in a team delivering both projects and BAU work, providing 3rd line support for infra. This person will form part of a small team of six people, meaning they will get plenty breadth in role, and ensure they aren’t ‘pigeon’ holed into a tight vertical. The business is at the beginning of a large scale Azure migration, so this role would suit someone who enjoys project and migration work. Additionally the business is looking for someone technically curious, and has funding in place for someone looking to undertake professional training and development.


Responsibilities of the Infrastructure Analyst (Microsoft & Azure):


- Work on cross team projects delivering improvements and enhancements to the estate

- Take the lead on projects ensuring timely delivery

- Create and update documentation where appropriate

- Work on 3rd level support issues and incidents, taking the lead on critical issues and incidents affecting the business and the infrastructure

- Take ownership of incidents and issues


Background of the Infrastructure Analyst (Microsoft & Azure):


- Experience of on prem to Azure migrations very helpful

- A broad infrastructure knowledge is very helpful

- Happy to be based in the office 3 days per week, able to cover a 0700 shift 1 week in 5, and able to be on call 3 or 4 times perhaps a year (On call allowances paid)

- Knowledge of the MS core stack is very helpful

- Knowledge of VMWare, Veeam, Zerto, Beyond Trust, Nimble and Citrix, helpful but not essential
