You will be joining The Business Line Anti-Financial Crime (BLAFC) team which advises the businesses on best practice and standards for risk-mitigation reflecting the applicable provisions of the German Anti-Money Laundering (AML) Act, the German Banking Act, and applicable local laws in each jurisdiction in which the business lines operate.

- Support the development and implementation of globally consistent strategies and scaled solutions to manage financial crime risk in FIC working across the business, AFC, Compliance, and other infrastructure partners
- Advise and drive AFC best practices and harmonisation to mitigate financial crime risk in FIC reflecting German AML Act, German Banking Act, United States (US) and United Kingdom (UK) and local laws
- Identify cross-regional trends, supporting the execution of initiatives and projects across FIC
- Act as point of contact for global client financial crime risk matters, supporting AFC management of global client multi-jurisdictional adoptions, reviews, and escalations
- Provide AML/ Know Your Customer (KYC) advice to the business on strategic product, client, or other business initiatives
- Good understanding of AFC in the financial or payment services industries
- Knowledge of Investment Banking businesses and associated products
- Able to conduct timely, risk-based decisions
- Excellent stakeholder management, able to address, influence and work collaboratively with peers across the organisation
- Understanding of AML regulatory expectations in Germany, UK, and US
