About the Role:


Following a highly anticipated relaunch, the company is poised to solidify its position as the leader in social football experiences across the UK. They are seeking a dynamic Head of Sponsorships & Partnerships to spearhead corporate sponsorship initiatives and secure significant deals with a minimum target of £1.6 million in revenue. This role not only drives the company's growth but also offers a clear path to progression, potentially escalating to Chief Revenue Officer based on performance.


Core Responsibilities:


  • Strategize and lead the company's corporate sponsorship efforts.
  • Achieve or exceed a revenue target of £1.6 million through sponsorships.
  • Identify and engage with top-tier brands, organizations, and influencers within the football domain to forge lucrative partnerships.


Additional Responsibilities:


  • Develop and implement a strategic approach to sponsorships and partnerships, aligning with the company's ambitious growth objectives.
  • Lead negotiations and close significant sponsorship and partnership deals, ensuring beneficial outcomes for all parties.
  • Build and maintain strong relationships with key partners, maximizing partnership value through strategic and innovative activations.
  • Leverage the company's platform and user base to enhance partner brand reach and engagement.
  • Evaluate the effectiveness of sponsorship and partnership programs, focusing on ROI, brand awareness, and user acquisition.
  • Stay updated on sports sponsorship and partnership trends, especially within the small-sided football tournament sector.
  • Promote internal collaboration across various departments to integrate partnerships seamlessly with overall business strategies.


Qualifications:


  • Minimum 5 years of experience in sponsorships or partnerships, preferably within the sports industry.
  • A proven track record of securing and managing impactful partnerships.
  • In-depth knowledge of brand marketing, influencer strategies, and experiential marketing.
  • Excellent negotiation and communication skills.
  • Passion for football and a deep understanding of the small-sided tournament scene.
  • A data-driven approach with proficiency in CRM software.
