StratfordUponAvon UK, Warwickshire, United Kingdom The HR Consultants Full time

ABOUT US:

We don't mean to show off... but we're kind of a big deal in the world of HR consultancy

The HR Consultants is a boutique consultancy, providing HR advice and support to businesses across the UK. In short, we help organisations to create a place that their people love to work, through a full range of outsourced HR solutions.

Our services cover the full employment lifecycle including recruitment, HR advice, HR administration, training, people strategy and everything in between.

We’ve just launched some fantastic changes to our HR support service, making it even more efficient for our team and our clients – and THAT is where you come in

  • We've got the clients...
  • We've got the HR support products...
  • We just need you

We're building a team of HR experts who will be on hand to advise our clients and help them navigate their way through a variety of people challenges, anything from performance issues, to grievances, to sickness, maternity/paternity, flexible working, redundancy and so on

This role is an excellent opportunity to really build your experience in providing HR advice to stakeholders; the variety of businesses we work with means there’s plenty of opportunity to get to grips with different sectors and cultures and will stand you in great stead for your future HR career.

** Reasons Why We're An Amazing Place To Work **

1. We only work in the office 3 days a week Monday – Wednesday, meaning you can work at home the other 2 days

2. We’re a small but growing business so there’s lots of opportunity for growth and development, either for future roles in our team or in the outside world (obvs we’d love you to develop your career with us but we’re realistic in that we don’t expect you to want to hang out with us forever)

3. We have an office bar/cake station – no pressure to drink or eat cake but they’re there if you’d like to kick-back at the end of the day or for a mid-morning cake break

4. Our office is in the centre of the beautiful Stratford upon Avon so plenty of opportunity for lunchbreak shopping/river walks/Shakespeare history

5. We're a cool, hip, fun group of gals and guys (trust us)

6. And all the usual stuff like parking, holidays, Christmas, private health, pensions is taken care of

PLUS: over the last 5 years we’ve helped over 50,000 people to have a better experience at work, as well as supporting hundreds of businesses to grow through their people - and that feels soooooo good

** Is this the single GREATEST HR job in the entire WORLD? **

Probably.... maybe... you tell me

And here's why:

We're not a start-up. We've been doing what we do for over 5 years. Our track record of building excellent relationships with clients speaks for itself, and now we need you to keep building our fantastic reputation through our service.

* The Perfect Candidate Will Tick The Boxes Below: *

  • You'll be a people person (and love talking)
  • You'll have tremendous confidence on the phone (and MS Teams)
  • You'll be (almost) as cool, hip and fun as the rest of us
  • You'll have read this job description and thought "OMG this is the job for me"
  • You'll have a super solid foundation in providing expert HR advice
  • You’ll work at pace and be happy to be busy busy busy
  • You'll be hungry for professional growth and development
  • You'll be motivated to provide the very best service possible
  • You'll be reliable, hard-working and all the usual stuff too
  • PLUS: you definitely WON'T be a mood-hoover – you’ll have positive energy that radiates from you

WHAT YOUR TYPICAL DAY WILL LOOK LIKE:

8:45am: Cruise into Stratford upon Avon and park at the nearby multi-storey, then make the 5 minute walk to the office (it’s good to get those steps in).

8:55am: Chit Chat with colleagues by the cake/coffee station.

9:01am: Log on, see what’s in your HubSpot inbox and respond to any replies from clients.

9:20am: Team meeting with the HR Squad to plan for the day (I said we were cool).

9:40am: Get prepped for the HR support you need to provide that day.

10:00am: Client call via MS Teams to help them through an employee issue

10:30am: Follow-up with any written support/advice and update HubSpot

11am: Did someone say coffee and cake at the office bar?

11.15am: Some more HR support calls

11:45am: Send follow-up info to your last client and update the system.

11:00am: Blast through your inbox which will probably have some email advice to be provided, perhaps writing some HR policies for clients

12:30pm: LUNCH (get out a take a walk in beautiful Stratford)

1:30pm: HR support call and follow-up time again

2.30pm: Blast through some more HR support emails

4:30pm: Check everything is up-to-date in HubSpot with all the brilliant work you’ve done today & Log off, enjoy an end of day cocktail/mocktail with colleagues, or head home

*every day will be different and you'll be largely responsible for your schedule
