We’re seeking a Marketing Manager to join us on a contract basis from August 2024 to October 2025. In this exciting role, you'll lead the implementation of targeted marketing strategies to amplify fan engagement and drive e-commerce sales. You'll manage advertising and digital activities to boost brand visibility and expand our reach to new demographics, while also coaching, managing and developing our Marketing Executive.
Your expertise in data analytics will be instrumental in fine-tuning our marketing efforts for optimal results. You'll be responsible for regular reporting on data and analytics to track campaign performance and provide actionable insights. We're looking for someone who excels in lead generation and increasing web traffic. Collaborating closely with internal teams and external partners, you'll ensure that our campaigns align with our strategic business goals.
This role will work on a hybrid basis, with three days a week from our office in Richmond (TW9 2JY).
What you’ll be doing:
- Build and execute strategic marketing plans to drive awareness and engagement, focusing on reaching new and diverse fan demographics.
- Utilise digital marketing tools and platforms to enhance online sales and customer engagement.
- Develop and manage dynamic digital advertising strategies, utilising existing social media channels and executing digital advertising campaigns in collaboration with agency partners.
- Analyse market data to refine marketing approaches, ensuring campaigns effectively target key demographics.
- Coordinate and execute events and exhibitions to promote fan engagement and brand visibility.
- Collaborate with commercial partners and stakeholders to develop marketing initiatives aligned with broader business objectives.
- Create compelling marketing materials and content for various channels to maintain consistent messaging and brand positioning.
- Regularly assess the effectiveness of marketing campaigns, providing insights and recommendations for enhancement. Conduct weekly and monthly KPI and project reports.
Who you are:
- Recent experience at a Marketing Manager or Senior Marketing Executive level or equivalent, preferably in the sports or sports travel industries, with exposure to both B2B and B2C marketing.
- Proficient in digital marketing, including CRM and CMS, with a focus on driving customer engagement and conversions.
- Ability to derive actionable insights from data to improve marketing strategies.
- Experience in coaching and developing team members on best practices.
- Excellent communication skills, with the ability to convey ideas effectively to diverse audiences and internal and external teams.
Desirable Competencies:
- Commitment to creating marketing strategies that resonate with customer needs and company values.
- Ability to streamline processes and enhance campaign delivery efficiency.
- Interest in exploring new marketing techniques and technologies to stay ahead of industry trends.
- Experience with Salesforce or Dotdigital CRMs.
