Our client is a Private Equity Investment firm based in London, who are dedicated to investments in AI, Deep Tech, and related technologies.
Candidate Requirements:
Please only apply if you have a Minimum of 10 years' working experience in investments, of which a minimum of 5 years is working experience in VC Firms, PE firms, or Fund of Funds.
Please note our client will only consider candidates with full-time employment experience within a VC firm, PE firm, or FOF firm.
Essential Experience:
Demonstrable investment experience in Private Equity or Venture Capital.
A proven track record of investing in AI, Deep Tech, or Fintech as a VC/PE or FOF VC.
Minimum 10 years' working experience in investments from which minimum of 5 years working experience in VC/PE Firms or Fund of Funds.
Minimum 3 years as a Principal/Director, in a VC/PE Firm or FOF VC.
Must be able to multi-task and prioritise in a fast-paced environment and work independently with deadlines requiring a quick turnaround.
Demonstrable ability to independently source deal flow.
A good understanding and practical experience of AI, Deep Tech, or Fintech.
Excellent written and oral communication skills, as well as strong analytic, problem solving and decision-making skills.
Must have strong intellectual curiosity, an entrepreneurial spirit.
Core Responsibilities:
As a Private Equity Principal / Director Investments, you will be working directly with and supporting the CIO of the fund. This is a senior role, and your main responsibilities will include validating the investment opportunities proposed by the rest of the team, reviewing/discussing them with the CIO, and presenting your findings to the entire Investment Committee.
The opportunity to grow within this role and become a partner in the firm within a short timeframe is a strong possibility for the right candidate.
You will be a key member of the principal investment team, focusing on a broad range of activities including identify new opportunities.
Conduct sourcing, investment research, due diligence, and analysis of potential investments and develop investment recommendations.
The role also includes advocating for operational and process changes to move towards a more data driven organisational paradigm.
Financial analysis and modelling of potential investments and lead the due diligence process for potential investments from start to finish.
Work with the teams' researchers and analysts to verify the best opportunities.
Develop deep understanding and working knowledge of AI and Deep Tech to support research analysis.
Stay up to date on development within the industry.
Provide forward-looking views with a high degree of transparency to Senior Leadership Team and other stakeholders.
