Job Title: HR Assistant


Job Purpose


As a Human Resource Assistant, the successful candidate will be an essential part of the HR team, contributing to various HR functions and processes.


Key deliverables and responsibilities


  • HR Administration: Assist in day-to-day HR administrative tasks, responding to employee queries and ensuring compliance with HR policies.
  • Assisting recruitment activities, including vetting candidates, assisting with interviews and issuing employment contracts.
  • Compiling and maintaining paper, digital and electronic employee records, including holiday and sickness.
  • Processing payroll data and assisting with the documentation of employee compensation and benefits.
  • Supporting with HR-related training programs, workshops and seminars
  • Coordinating logistics and onboarding plans for new hire orientations
  • Assisting with the drafting, analysis and submission of reports on general HR activities.
  • Employee Engagement: Contribute to initiatives aimed at enhancing employee engagement and fostering a positive workplace culture.
  • Overseeing HR events and meetings and coordinating management-employee communications


Skills and Requirements


  • Education: A recent graduate with a degree in human resources, business administration, or a related field is preferred but not essential.
  • Genuine Passion for People and interest in HR, Processes and systems.
  • Strong MS Office skills – Word, Excel, Outlook and PowerPoint
  • Clear communication skills including concise and accurate written communication.
  • Attention to Detail: Strong attention to detail, ensuring accuracy in HR records and processes.
  • Team Player: Ability to collaborate with the HR team and other departments to achieve HR objectives.
