Inside Sales Manager

Our client is a well-established and highly successful company delivering IT solutions, support and innovation to its customers for over 20 years. They deliver MS based technology to the heart of customers infrastructures and help secure, manage and operate effective and cohesive solutions for and on behalf of their clients.
Due to growth, they are looking for a dynamic and experienced Inside Sales Manager
Reporting to the CRO, you will be responsible for developing additional business opportunities, cross-selling and driving incremental revenues with their existing customer base across our sales teams. Primarily, your focus will be to work with our existing sales teams to identify new areas of opportunity that we haven’t sold to before in our existing client base
You will work closely with the sales and marketing teams to plan new campaigns to these customers and follow up directly with them on these individual opportunities
This role is ideally suited to someone who has sales skills with a technical brief that will help them develop the additional projects on their own.
The technical teams would assist you, but a good understanding of some of the areas of their business would be preferred so that we can skill up the successful candidate quickly.
Right now, like most of the world, most of their staff are working hybrid, with a mix of approx. 1 – 2 days per week in our office in London Bridge and the other time working from home. This is discretionary and open to change if required.
Responsibilities
Sales campaigns to existing clients
- Work with the sales team to account plan against existing accounts and farm our base for new opportunities in areas we don’t currently provide or service.
- Agree approach with sales team and drive introducing of the solution, proposal and all associated activities with this customer to introduce the additional services or work.
- Work in partnership with our partners to ensure no channel conflict or engagement conflict.
- HubSpot ownership and driving lead generation through this tool in conjunction with sales team.
- Ability to write proposals for business – based on values in excess of £200k
- Previous experience in MS tools and products and services, including, but not limited to: MS365 Office suite, Intune, SharePoint online, Defender 3 and 5 suites
- MS Purview, Power Platform and Teams
- Any prior migration knowledge – on-premise installations to Cloud based
- Veritas, CrowdStrike and Mimecast knowledge useful but not essential.
Skills and Experience
- Proven Sales experience of up to 5 years in a similar sales new business or farming role or CSM type activity.
- Proven sales achievements in sales with actual sales against target, over-achievement in role.
- Proficient in Microsoft Office suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint etc)
