Sales Manager
Overview:
Our client is looking for a Sales Managerwith excellent local knowledge on the Corporate and Leisure customers in market. The role is demanding and requires a resilient person to embrace the working patterns and demands of the role.
Reporting to the Head of Sales and a dotted line to the property GM this role requires an experienced Leader who can navigate several management levels. This is a proactive role and does not require team management.
The Role:
As Sales Manager you will analyse local market trends and competitor activity to recommend strategies that keep the hotel a leader in the marketplace
Integral part of the growth & development of future and repeat business
Analysis of local market trends and competitor activity to identify business leads
Develop customer accounts and travel to drive business into the specific Hotel and to increase market/customer share in all revenue streams
Negotiate room rates/packages with corporate clients
Develop and implement creative local marketing channels, including social media channels
Prepare company contracts for the hotel in accordance with current business and pricing conditions
Salary and Benefits:
They are offering a salary of circa £35,000 per annum plus 20% bonus
