What You'll Do:

  • Bring groundbreaking ideas to life by designing and developing advanced, special-purpose automation machinery.
  • Lead the charge in new product development, guiding projects from inception to successful delivery.
  • Ensure designs meet exacting standards, safety regulations, and machine specifications.
  • Take the lead in design reviews, driving improvements and innovation.
  • Identify project risks and present solutions to the Product Development Manager.
  • Create precise engineering component and GA drawings for seamless manufacturing and assembly.
  • Collaborate with operations, manufacturing, and production teams to ensure smooth product development.
  • Prepare technical reports and documentation, ensuring every detail is covered.
  • Assist in the exciting process of on-site customer installations and testing of first-off products.


What You'll Need:

  • A degree in Engineering or relevant apprenticeship background.
  • Over 3 years of experience in a design engineering role, with a focus on product innovation.
  • Expert-level CAD skills (SolidWorks preferred) and a strong understanding of geometrical tolerancing.
  • Hands-on experience with prototype builds and testing.
  • A full passport and the flexibility to travel internationally for occasional customer visits.
