Key Responsibilities

  • Create and lead electrical design strategies for hyperscale data centres, including designs for substations, site and facility power distribution, and backup power systems.
  • Lead the creation of our electrical design roadmap.
  • Lead and direct regional teams to apply electrical design concepts globally.
  • Collaborate with stakeholders to create design criteria and budget plans that align with customer requirements.
  • Lead technical assessment and design for the global programme. This includes coordinating substation design and site utility power distribution with electrical utility providers.
  • Ensure adherence to industry standards, guidelines, and laws.


Qualification:

  • B.S. in Electrical Engineering, or a similar discipline.
  • At least 10 years of experience in electrical/engineering, with a focus on data centre infrastructure.
  • Extensive experience with electrical design, utility substations (HV), power distribution systems (MV & LV), UPS, and backup power systems.
  • Expertise in electrical safety protocols and SCCAF investigations, including implementation.
  • Demonstrated expertise in data centre electrical system building, including deadlines and budgets.
  • Expertise in prefabrication, modular building, and manufacturing procedures.
