  • Extensive experience in a gastro pub or similar setting, with a proven track record of culinary management and innovation
  • Skilled in creating and presenting dishes that utilize local, seasonal ingredients to produce refined British cuisine
  • Strong leadership capabilities, with experience managing kitchen staff and operations effectively
  • A creative culinary approach, with the ability to blend traditional British flavours with modern culinary techniques
  • Exceptional attention to detail, especially in food quality, hygiene, and kitchen safety practices

Key Responsibilities:

  • Craft innovative menus that emphasise classic British flavours, ensuring they are regularly updated to reflect seasonal availability
  • Oversee all aspects of kitchen operations, including preparation, cooking, and presentation of dishes
  • Lead and inspire a team of chefs, promoting a culture of high performance and continuous learning
  • Establish and maintain strong relationships with local suppliers to ensure the supply of high-quality ingredients
  • Maintain high standards of food quality, presentation, and consistency to enhance customer satisfaction
  • Ensure compliance with health and safety regulations, maintaining a clean and safe kitchen environment
