Senior Project Manager- Architecture

London, UK, United Kingdom mustard | B Corp™ Full time

I've got an opportunity that incorporates the best of both worlds- Architecture and Project Management of course One of our longest standing clients are on the lookout for a Senior Project Manager with a solid background within the Architectural industry. This is a permanent position with a salary up to £65,000 depending on experience and it's for a medium sized, central London office of a larger global group.

This is a fantastic opportunity for those who shifted into the Project Management side of things after a healthy career in the Architecture/Construction industry. You'll to have a solid understanding and proven experience in RIBA stages 2-5. Alongside the technical understanding required it is vital you have at least 4-5 years experience as working as a PM. Much of this role will be collaborating with the Project lead team hence the need for varied experience. This role also spans the M&E sector as you'll also be required to coordinate with this team, prior experience or knowledge of M&E would be beneficial.

A large part of this position will be your ability to financially manage multiple projects efficiently as well as project set up. You'll need to be comfortable with budgeting and have a track record in negotiation of contracts. It lends itself to client facing individuals as you'll be creating and maintaining client relationships throughout your time there. Leadership qualities and previous management experience would be ideal however you won't be in a position to manage large teams at first, the growth plan would suggest this is a role that could develop into managing a sizeable team within the office.

The company are a Revit using company and would prefer you to have some Revit/BIM 360 experience however this is a not a pre-requisite.

With a specialism in some interesting sectors including healthcare and data centers you should have some understanding in either of these areas however a background with working on large scale or complex builds would certainly suffice. Alternative sectors of interest could be Aviation, mixed-use or large scale residential.

This is a strategic hire for the company, creating and growing a new team so what a great time to join This a good level of flexibility with the position and there is a hybrid working policy. As this is a strategic hire it's about getting the right fit so interviews are looking to take place in early June with a start date in mind for July/August. This may account for a lengthy notice period however if you're able to start sooner or even a little later you will be considered. Even though the start date is a few months away the company are requiring CV's imminently so please don't delay and get in touch now
