The Role
To provide electrical engineering support to a busy production operation which is split into two distinctive areas, both with BRC and ISO accreditations. This is a days based role, offering a salary of £26-£30,000 based in Swansea
Knowledge and Experience
* Plan and implement plant maintenance to ensure efficient production operation
* Delegate within the team where appropriate
* Take an active role in the Safety Committee promoting the culture of safey in the business
* Participate in daily production and weekly engineering meetings
* Be focussed and committed to carry out corrective actions arising from quality, safety and environmental near miss reports
* Be an integral part of a small engineering team in a SME with the opportunity to make real impact to the success of the business
* Adhere to all company policies and procedures
* Comply with accredited standards
The Person
* Familiar with 3 phase systems (motors, distribution, switchgear)
* Machinery and automation
* Programming
* Hardware
* Sensors
* Safety guarding
* Control panel layout
* Installation
* Project Work
* Electrical drawings
* Fault finding / problem solving
* Lighting and power circuits, single and 3 phase.
* LOTO procedures. Prove-test-prove.
