Job Description
Heat Master Services Ltd is looking for a reliable, skilled and motivated Plumber’s Mate / Plumbing Improver to join our team on ongoing residential plumbing, heating and refurbishment projects across East London. We are looking for someone who already has practical plumbing experience, takes pride in their workmanship and is confident carrying out basic installations with minimal supervision. This is a great opportunity for someone looking for regular subcontracting work, competitive pay and the chance to develop their skills alongside experienced plumbing and heating engineers.

Key Responsibilities
- Hanging, fitting and connecting radiators
- Installing bathtubs, basins, toilets and kitchen sinks
- Carrying out first-fix and second-fix plumbing installations
- Installing and altering hot and cold water pipework
- Assisting with bathroom and heating system installations
- Removing and replacing existing plumbing fixtures
- Working alongside qualified engineers on larger projects
- Maintaining a clean, safe and professional working environment What We’re Looking For
- Previous hands-on plumbing experience is essential
- Confident fitting radiators, baths, basins and sinks
- Able to complete straightforward plumbing tasks with minimal supervision
- Good understanding of plumbing materials, fittings and tools
- Reliable, punctual and hardworking
- Good attention to detail and quality workmanship
- Positive attitude and willingness to learn
- Able to work independently and as part of a team Desirable but not essential:
- NVQ Level 2 Plumbing or currently working towards a qualification
- Own basic plumbing tools
- Full UK driving licence and own transport
- Experience in residential refurbishments
