Orion Group are working with a successful and growing Highland-based contractor with a proven track record of delivering high-quality infrastructure projects across the region, to source an experienced Civils Estmator to add to there Inverness based Team.Key Responsibilities As a Civils Estimator, you will:Prepare accurate estimates and costings for civil engineering projects (roads, earthworks, water and drainage).Review tender and technical documentation to ensure competitive and reliable pricing.Liaise with engineers, subcontractors, and suppliers to negotiate rates and gather accurate quotations.Contribute to tendering strategies, increasing the company’s chances of winning projects.Provide reports and recommendations to senior management.Requirements You will be a great fit for this role if you have:Proven experience in civil estimating.Experience of pricing earthworks, roads, and infrastructure works etc.Ability to read and interpret technical drawings and tender documents.Strong organisational skills, attention to detail and negotiating skilss with the ability to work under pressure.Advantageous: familiarity with estimating software What We OfferCompetitive salary (dependent on experience).BonusSecure, long-term employment with a well-established Highland contractor.HealthcareSupportive and friendly working environment.Vehicle Allowance.*Applicant must have experience of Estimating projects within the UKOur role in supporting diversity and inclusion As an international workforce business, we are committed to sourcing personnel that reflects the diversity and values of our client base but also that of Orion Group.
