What you'll do Act as a key and effective member of the central logistics team, utilising your knowledge of transport operations to lead initiatives that optimise performance, reduce costs, and enhance service to customerManage and deliver complex, high-impact projects from initiation through to closure in areas such as delivery scanning, yard management, vehicle telematics & satnavs, temperature compliance, and delivery arrival time notificationsCollaborate with stakeholders in supply sites, central logistics, retail, and finance to define project scope, objectives, and success criteriaEstablish and maintain robust governance frameworks to ensure consistent project executionMonitor and report on project performance, risks, and issues, providing strategic recommendations and insight About you You'll fit right in at Greggs as a Transport Project Manager if:You can demonstrate specialist knowledge of logistics operations and project delivery within a transport environment.You have experience using modern transport systems such as telematics & tracking, tacho-analysis, and Yard and fleet management You're proficient in using Microsoft 365 for project reporting and stakeholder communications.You're skilled in managing data, analysing performance, and solving problems to inform project decisions.You're able to diagnose, plan, and implement practical process and system improvements with a strong customer focus.You're self-motivating, results-focused, and have a desire for continuous improvement.You have excellent planning and organisational skills, with the ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously.You're confident communicating verbally and in writing with a wide variety of stakeholders.
