Detailed job description and main responsibilities For further information on this role, please see the attached detailed Job Description and Person Specification• To contribute to the strategic development of the Trust Wide Estate and act as an 'expert advisor' for the service.• To provide professional advice• To establish and review effective management systems and to implement systems and processes• To participate in the preparation of business cases• To be responsible for the preparation of Board Reports.• To lead in the preparation of progress reports• To present to the Trust boards, Divisional groups and Department as required.• To carry out full surveys and preparations of drawings, specifications and tender documents• To monitor costs of a portfolio of projects Person specificationEducation/Qualifications Essential criteria A BSc or BEng Degree in Engineering, or a Construction discipline and a Masters Degree in Engineering or a Construction discipline. Or A BSc or BEng (as above) with demonstrable extensive Senior Management Experience in a similar organisation. Or a BSc or BEng (as above) with Membership of a professional institution such as RICS, RIBA, CIBSE, CIOB, IMechE or IET.
