Relocation support is available for candidates moving closer to site. As a Piping Engineer, you will drive the successful delivery of the mechanical, electrical, and HVAC piping scope at Hinkley Point C. You'll lead site-based engineering through to commissioning, ensuring seamless integration of works within the wider piping programme.Key responsibilities include:Managing the delivery of piping installation within designated site areasCreating and updating technical specifications and inspection plansResolving construction queries, technical issues, and change requestsReviewing and coordinating contractor deliverables and installation documentationSupporting updates to design and works information documentsPreparing and assisting with technical meetings and reviewsProviding real-time engineering support to maintain installation progressEnsuring construction aligns with post-construction needs such as pressure tests and inspection packsQualifications Essential SkillsProven engineering experience in construction and installation environmentsStrong technical knowledge with a focus on engineering standardsLeadership skills to support and guide site-based engineering teamsExperience influencing and coordinating cross-functional stakeholdersUnderstanding of contracts and commercial interfacesConfidence to make independent decisions with clear escalation awarenessFamiliarity with fast-paced, schedule-driven project delivery• Desired SkillsDegree in a relevant engineering disciplineChartered Engineer status (or working towards)Experience with pressurised water reactor systems and operationsKnowledge of UK construction safety regulations (CDM)Additional Information Why Apply?This is your chance to specialise in one of the most quality-critical aspects of piping delivery on a landmark nuclear programme.
