In this role, you will help the Global team design, develop, and lead the integration of our AMR product catalog-Flexley Tug, Flexley Mover, and Flexley Stack-across various work environments in the UK. You will also implement technical and technological solutions, ensuring successful project delivery on time, within budget, and in line with quality and safety guidelines.Location: ABB facilities in Milton Keynes, and client sites inside the UK.Our Team DynamicsOur teams support each other, collaborate, and never stop learning. Your Role and ResponsibilitiesIn this role, you'll help run what runs the world, by taking on meaningful work that drives real impact. Your main responsibilities will be:Identify and define technical requirements for projects.Ensure system development meets analysis and design requirements within safety standards.Validate solutions within the planned period and at the lowest possible cost, resolving issues as they arise.Manage and develop the PEM to ensure proper system implementation at client sites.Create and deliver work plans, budgets, and risk assessments relevant to your engineering discipline.Manage safety to reduce occupational risks and eliminate accidents during project development and start-up.Ensure clear, reliable, and technically accurate documentation throughout the process.Support project managers and lead engineers in technical reviews, customer discussions, and problem resolution, both remotely and on-site.Qualifications for the RoleAt least 5 years' experience in customer service and incident resolution with technical or managerial experience in PLC programming environments.Solid knowledge of engineering techniques, processes, and tools, including PLC programming under IEC61131 and structured text (ST).Strong focus on safe work practices and adherence to workplace safety guidelines.High level of self-motivation, curiosity, and eagerness to learn new technologies.Collaborative, solution-focused approach with strong written and spoken communication skills.Professional competence in general and technical English, both spoken and written.You are passionate about Robotics and Autonomous VehiclesRelevant engineering qualifications and have a demonstrated track record in AMR deployment and commissioningYou hold current UK driving license validBenefitsABB offers a full range of benefits to help you thrive at work and beyond.Competitive salary25 days annual leave plus bank holidaysCompetitive contributory pension schemeLife assuranceFlexible benefits scheme (Includes options to buy/sell holidays, health checks, dental, eye care, gym memberships, cycle to work, gadget discounts and more)Internal mobility opportunities, mentorships & access to projects globallyEmployee Assistance ProgrammeGenerous employee referral schemePrivate medical coverGenerous bonus schemeFor the 5th consecutive year ABB UK has been recognised as a Top Employer in UK.
