We're seeking a proactive Health, Safety & Environmental Business Partner to help Nexus achieve excellence in safety and sustainability by embedding our Integrated Management System (IMS) and driving continuous improvement across the organisation; working closely with the OH&S and Environment & Sustainability Managers, you'll lead incident investigations, conduct risk assessments, champion fire and behavioural safety programmes, and deliver key initiatives in areas such as Working at Height, PUWER, COSHH, and Permit-to-Work systems-an influential role where you'll shape safety culture, ensure compliance, and make a tangible impact on Nexus's reputation for operational excellence.Typical DaySupport managers and stakeholders by offering practical Occupational Health, Safety, and Environmental adviceAssist with incident investigations, conduct risk assessments, and contribute to the management of our fire arrangements, fatigue monitoring, and behavioural safety initiativesCarry out on-site assurance checks, review safety documentation, and analyse our performance data to prepare accurate reports for QHSSE forumsDevelopment of new systems and procedures to support improvements to Health and Safety across Nexus About YouYou hold a recognised health and safety qualification and have a thorough understanding of legislation and best practiceYou can communicate with all levels of people with a customer focus approachYou thrive working in a fast-paced varied environmentYou understand Data Protection and the requirements around working confidentiality and keeping sensitive information secureYou have practical experience in HSE management systems, conducting risk assessments, and supporting incident investigations in complex operational environmentsYou can interpret data, identify trends, and produce accurate reports that inform decision-making and drive continuous improvementYou demonstrate initiative, problem-solving skills, and the ability to deliver practical solutions under pressure whilst remaining calm and professionalYou work effectively as part of a team, building strong relationships and influencing others to adopt safe working practices Who we are looking forYou must be able to work collaboratively as part of a team that lives our company values every day supporting each other, delivering exceptional service, and creating a positive, respectful environment for colleagues and customers alike.As a colleague within Nexus, you will take pride in delivering your best performance, respecting others and working towards team goals through collaboration, agility and embracing learning opportunities.More information can be found in the Supporting Documents section.Our TeamYou will join a diverse team who are passionate about delivering great Health and Safety advice and support across Nexus.
