Job DescriptionGood things this wayIf you are a driven, high-performer who enjoys solving problems and learning new skills, our 18-month Change Development Programme (CDP) provides a clear pathway into a rewarding career in banking.You'll build skills and experience in Business Analysis, Project Management or within our Portfolio Management Office, giving you the tools and experience to lead change that matters.We spend over £600m each year introducing new products and services, simplifying our IT infrastructure, complying with new legislation and regulations, and developing innovative new technology. We don't have shareholders, which means you'll be delivering change that impacts on customers, communities and society.Project ManagerAs a Project Manager, you will be responsible for the performance of the team delivering change initiatives. The key to your success will be your prioritisation, planning and decision-making abilities. In this role, you will: Help to motivate change teams and encourage collaboration amongst colleagues.Identify risks, assumptions, issues, and dependencies (RAID) within a project and develop solutions to these problems.Plan & deliver using the most appropriate change methodology and have the ability to recognise when something does not work.Facilitate meetings with our stakeholders and technical experts and ensure there is clear communication and continuous improvementWhere you'll be workingOur Chief Operating Office (COO) is more than technology; it's the engine behind Nationwide's transformation into a modern mutual. You'll gain exposure to different delivery methodologies and concepts, development opportunities and industry wide (Business Analyst & Project Manager) certifications including the APM Project Fundamentals Qualification (PFQ) and the BCS Foundation Certificate in Business Analysis. Our Change Development Programme will have two intakes, 1st June, and 7th September 2026. You'll be asked to select your intake preference when applying. Location At Nationwide we offer hybrid working wherever possible.
