INSTRUMENT TECHNICIAN I FPSOEAST MEDITERRANEANThis role is vital to the safe and effective delivery of offshore production/onshore processing of oil and gas or in ensuring that instrumentation and control systems and equipment used onshore and offshore is in a safe condition and meets safety and technical standards.To maintain the process plant and associated equipment in a safe and efficient manner, in compliance with all statutory requirements.Carry out planned preventative, remedial and breakdown maintenance in accordance with maintenance management system.• Reporting to on shift Energean OIM.• Carry out instrument maintenance activities as follows.• Repairs, calibrates and maintains platform instrumentation systems.• Complete preventative and remedial maintenance in accordance with SAP schedule and work instructions, with particular emphasis on safety critical activities.• Repairs, calibrates and maintains platform instrumentation systems.• Carry out fault finding and diagnostic checks on all site equipment, ensuring any repairs are addressed promptly.• Monitors platform master charts to establish possible instrument malfunctions.• Conducts and reviews the results of tests run in control room and ensure their reliability and accuracy.• Respond to breakdowns in a timely manner and carry out and apply effective fault finding and investigation techniques.• Carry out major services, overhauls and intrusive maintenance on site equipment.• Ensures the installation, calibration and testing of platform instrumentation is conducted in accordance with Company requirements and statutory Government standards.• Carry out and participate in Root Cause Analysis to improve equipment reliability.• Ensure comprehensive work history is recorded in SAP and any follow up work and material required is identified.• Ensure comprehensive records and logs are maintained and effective handovers are carried out at shift and crew change.• Ensures the required supply of spare parts are available, prepares and requisitions items required.• Identify and propose ideas and solutions that will increase efficiency in cost or time without loss of integrity and present idea(s) to relevant management.• Support and improve team performance by sharing knowledge and best practices.• Support the day-to-day running of the platform by safely performing Instrument maintenance tasks on platform utility and production equipment• Accountable for maintaining a positive safety culture ensuring that all tasks are carried out within the law and company policies & procedures• Participate in WG competence scheme including any multi skilled role in accordance with the relevant competence framework• Adopt a flexible working attitude to provide support across all departments to ensure team success• Create, maintain & enhance effective working relations and identify and minimise interpersonal conflict• Maintain effective communication with all work colleagues at all levels.• Demonstrate knowledge and understanding of relevant legislation and be able to apply it in the workplace.• Ensure all work is conducted in full compliance with company HS&E policy, procedures and Safety Management System.• Be familiar with and adhere to the OSM Safety Cocoon, with specific focus on the Life Saving Rules.• Comply with all relevant OSM HS&E policies and procedures where appropriate.• Actively participate and support all company Health, Safety & Environmental plans, initiatives and improvements.• Maintains good housekeeping conditions in workshop and work sites.Carry out all activities in accordance with ISSOW including the following: • Comprehensive and detailed Risk Assessments and Toolbox Talks.• Stop and re-asses any job where change is identified.• Report all accidents and incidents.• Carry out Emergency Response duties, as required or nominated, in accordance with client requirements.Requirements/Qualifications/Competence: Minimum requirements Education / (COC) / STCW / CertificatesRecognised Apprenticeship & VQBOSIET OFFSHORE MEDICAL CA-EBS (Compressed Air Emergency Breathing System)ECITBEnvironmental AwarenessCOMPEX Electrical -
