In This Role, Your Responsibilities Will Be:To identify customer needs, understand complex technical requirements, liaise with customers, sales teams, factories and other departments (as needed) to ensure the most suitable outcome is being offered. To size and configure the products according to the technical and commercial requirements such as specifications, application fit, documentation, testing requirements, target lead-time and budget.Develop a quote in Oracle, assist with technical recommendations and submit the proposal to customers on time, technically and commercially accurately by offering the best solution.Verify that purchase orders are following the technical proposal and commercial terms offered. Resolve any technical issues that may occur with the customer.Contact customers (via email, digital platforms and or phone), collaborate with Outside Sales Account owners to engineer and understand customer requirements and sales strategy.Who You Are:You are detail-oriented, results-driven, and capable of thriving in a dynamic, multitasking environment. You are passionate about quality and possess strong analytical and problem-solving skills to ensure customer satisfaction. You focus on building effective collaboration and preparing impactful communication content. For This Role, You Will Need:Sales experience in a technical environment or Instrumentation experience.A product, results driven approach, commercially oriented, self-motivated.To demonstrate the ability to communicate at both technical and commercial levels to resolve customer issues.Preferred Qualifications That Set You Apart:Educated to Degree level in an engineering or technical discipline, or relevant experience in the industry.Experience of using product and business systems and standard business reporting tools, for example, Oracle and CRM systems, is advantageous.Our Culture & Commitment to You:At Emerson, we prioritize a workplace where every employee is valued, respected, and empowered to grow.
