What does the role involve? As a Graduate Mechanical Engineer you will: Work as an integral team member on some of the most prestigious construction projects in the UK, working alongside world class architects and innovative engineering teams. Carry out thermal analysis and assessment of ventilation requirements to determine loads for central plant and systems. Compare alternative mechanical design proposals and develop the building with the design team to incorporate passive and active design solutions. Develop the building energy strategy to adopt appropriate sustainable and low carbon mechanical design systems. Select appropriate plant and equipment to develop mechanical plantroom configurations. Write technical reports, design presentations and prepare tender drawings and specifications. Use thermal modelling software and CAD including AutoCad and Revit. Visit construction sites and witness system commissioning. What do you need to apply?
