Technician - Mechanical Engineering Job description 37 hours per weekFixed Term - 31/07/26We have an immediate requirement for an experienced Mechanical Engineering Technician to support the teaching and learning at the City of Newport Campus.You will be qualified to NVQ Level 3 in Mechanical Engineering or proven relevant workshop experience.Team work, enthusiasm and a flexible approach are attributes required within this area. You will support both staff and students in all aspects of the practical curriculum, including stock control and ordering. You will also be required to complete regular Health & Safety audits of the equipment and environment within this area.Applications may be submitted in Welsh and will not be treated less favourably than applications submitted in English.The College is committed to safeguarding, ensuring the safety and welfare of children and young people.
