Throughout this apprenticeship, you'll gain hands-on experience in designing and implementing advanced control systems under the guidance of experienced engineers. Over the course of the programme, you'll: Collaborate with a team to design, program, and test mission-critical solutions for industry-leading projects. Contribute to solving hardware and software challenges with innovative approaches. Support the configuration of secure infrastructure and communication protocols for system integration. One Friday per month, you'll return to your workplace - either Nottingham or Sheffield. On completion of the first study block, this apprenticeship will be based in either Sheffield or Nottingham, with travel to other locations expected. You'll attend the training centre in Sheffield one day per week for knowledge-based study, spending the remaining four days onsite gaining practical experience.
