To prepare, perform, test and commission marine automation related activities in support of new build, upgrade and service related projects.Initially this role will be based at our Marine Power Test Facility at Whetstone in Leicestershire, but after approximately 18 months travel further afield may be required for durations of up to 4 weeks at a time.Primarily responsible for the pre-commissioning, commissioning, and documenting of Automation systems, safely, to defined instructions in preparation for hand-over to the test team. The role will also require ongoing maintenance of automation equipment.Key responsibilities will include:Installation and checking of associated cabling, circuit breakers, contactors, transformers, UPS batteries/systems and variable speed drives.Commissioning and full integration of Automation Systems. Service and fault finding on Automation equipment and associated systems.
