Facilities Electrical Technician

This will include day and night working, (working days include: - 4 days on 4 days off, 2 days on 2 days off, 3 days on 3 days off, 2 days on 2 days off. The rota will then repeat. The role will have the responsibility of maintaining a safe working environment, providing immediate response and efficient resolutions to down-time situations. You will: • Perform scheduled preventative maintenance on plant equipment and systems.• Monitor plant operations to ensure compliance with critical process parameters.• Diagnose and repair unplanned equipment failures including motors, pumps, inverters, PLCs.• Maximize uptime of plant services and equipment.• Support engineering projects to improve systems capability and reliability including annual factory shutdowns.• Accurately record work details in maintenance software and update the Facilities Technician Manager.• Ensure adherence to health and safety policies and procedures.• Liaise with and supervise contractors and service providers.• Remain flexible for shift changes or additional duties as required by business needs.• Actively participate in company business continuous improvement initiatives.About you:• You will bring a strong technical profile with demonstrated relevant 3 years' experience in O&M, fault-finding and diagnosis - we are flexible about the industry experience you bring.• Minimum Level 3 Electrical Qualification (NVQ, City & Guilds etc.) Professional qualification in electrical discipline.• You will have strong communication and team working skills• You will have strong work ethic and ability to adapt to changing prioritiesYour experience includes:• HV switching experience• I&C experience• Experience in HVAC, RODI, WWT, PLC• Trend Control Systems (BEMS)You will also be entitled to many other Company Benefits: • Health - Private healthcare, for employees and dependents, Company sick pay and medical leave, Occupational healthcare service, Employee assistance programs, Group income protection and On-site gym/ exercise classes / personal trainer. • Work Life Balance - Annual leave, Part-time working, Enhanced maternity pay, Enhanced paternity pay, Bereavement leave. • Financial - Pension - employer contributory scheme, Life assurance, Employee stock purchase plan, Competitive base pay, Company bonus scheme, Reward and recognition, Employee savings scheme, Perks at work discount programs, Employee discount scheme, Pay for civil / jury duty. • Career - Degree / non degree assistance Externally accredited training and development opportunities, Service awards, LinkedIn learning, Learning & development programs.
