You will lead the enhancement and optimisation of leakage targeting systems across regional and divisional teams, ensuring alignment, usability, and data integrity to support efficient detection and response strategies. What you'll do In this role, you will: be acccountable for leading improvements to leakage targeting systems, ensuring they are operationally effective, user-friendly, and aligned with divisional and regional needs support the development of improved upstream network monitoring and reporting capabilities incorporating the latest regulatory guidance and operational practices be responsible for maintaining high standards of data accuracy and ensuring that all targeting and monitoring systems produce reliable outputs ensure consistent approaches across regions by aligning system developments with divisional requirements and facilitating collaboration between teams develop and implement mechanisms for divisional teams to provide structured feedback at DMA level, enabling better analysis of detection costs and resource planning drive the exploration and implementation of intelligent alarms and alerts for leakage detection, leveraging both existing platforms and emerging technologies work closely with the Network Response Centre (NRC) to ensure seamless integration of burst detection and out-of-hours response processes support the development of improved upstream network monitoring and reporting tools to enhance visibility and decision-making foster a culture of shared ownership, collaboration, and engagement across regional and divisional teams to support continuous improvement. What you'll need The knowledge, skills and experience needed in this role are: a strong understanding of water network operations and leakage detection systems experience working across multi-disciplinary teams proven ability to manage data quality and system usability familiarity with DMA-level analysis and feedback processes knowledge of upstream network monitoring and reporting tools an understanding of control room operations and emergency response coordination excellent communication and stakeholder engagement skills.
