As an Electrical Engineer on our Dinorwig Refurbishment Project, you'll be at the forefront of ensuring clean, reliable energy for generations to come.What you will doReview and validate electrical design documentation from contractors and existing systemsFormulate responses to technical queries and requests for informationCollaborate with Business as Usual (BAU) engineers and operations teams to update design informationContribute to the inspection, testing, and commissioning of electrical systemsEnsure compliance with relevant environmental, health, and safety legislationWork within management procedures and corporate IT systems to deliver project objectivesWhat you will bring to the roleDegree holder in Electrical Engineering or a related fieldMinimum of ten years' experience in power generation or heavy industrial processesProficient in electrical inspection, testing, and commissioning (FAT & SAT)Strong knowledge of LV/MV switchgear, distribution systems, and relevant IEC standardsExperienced with LV/MV motors, controls, and starting circuitsFamiliar with DC systems, electrical protection systems, and transformersGood working knowledge of wiring regulations (BS7671)Skilled in using basic IT systems (Word, Excel, etc.)Ability to work collaboratively in a team environmentStrong problem-solving and communication skillsJob Based InDinorwig Power Station, North Wales (on-site position)What We OfferCompetitive salary commensurate with experienceOpportunity to work on critical national infrastructure projectsCareer development and growth within a global energy leaderStimulating work environment with cutting-edge technologyFlexible working arrangements to support work-life balanceComprehensive benefits package including pension and healthcareTraining and development programs to enhance your skillsChance to contribute to the UK's clean energy futureWhy We CareAt ENGIE, we believe that every talent has a role to play in accelerating the energy transition.
