EHV Project Manager

We are delivering a major new National Grid substation near Bridgend, supporting the UK's drive to upgrade and strengthen the national energy network. This is a technically complex, high-profile project and we're looking for someone with the leadership, technical understanding, and drive to see it through from mobilisation to completion. You'll be leading a skilled team, working closely with National Grid, and playing a key role in delivering a project that keeps the lights on across the country. If you're looking for a career-defining role in the power sector with a company that's shaping the future of UK infrastructure this is your opportunity.What You'll Do Lead the full lifecycle of an EHV substation project - from planning through to delivery and handover Act as the main point of contact for National Grid, managing relationships and ensuring seamless delivery Oversee project planning, budgets, schedules, and risk management Manage a multi-disciplinary team including engineers, commercial, and delivery staff Drive excellence in safety, quality, programme, and cost performance Lead NEC contract administration and change management Coordinate with key stakeholders including subcontractors, local authorities, and the community Champion a safety-first, solutions-driven culture across the project team What We're Looking For Degree qualified in Electrical Engineering (or similar) Proven experience delivering EHV projects (132kV and above) Background working on National Grid or DNO substation schemes Strong leadership and communication skills Confident in NEC contract management and commercial oversight Passionate about delivering technically complex, high-quality infrastructure Don't match all the criteria?
