Forward Trust is seeking a Desistance, Recovery, and Wellbeing Service Manager to lead our innovative Connections Services at HMP Millsike, Yorkshire.What Youll Do:Lead and line-manage facilitators, wellbeing practitioners, and recovery staffMatrix manage Prisoner Custody Officers across key unitsOversee flagship programmes: More Than My Past, Step Back to Step Forward, Thrive, and the Incentivised Substance Free Living UnitLead the prisons Drug Strategy and embed a culture of desistance, recovery, and wellbeingMaintain programme standards, staffing competence, and engaging activity schedulesWhat Were Looking For:Strong leadership and team management experienceProven ability to implement and oversee complex programmesExperience working in custodial or rehabilitation settings is highly desirableExceptional organisational, communication, and relationship-building skillsPassion for transforming lives and building positive prison cultureBe aware that the location of this role is hard to access through public transport.About UsWe are The Forward Trust, the social enterprise with charitable status that empowers people to break the often interlinked cycles of crime and addiction to move forward with their lives.
